Common FAQ’s

When is the ride?

The ride is on Sunday, June 5, 2022.  

 

Where is the ride?

Registration, packet pick-up, start/finish, awards and the after party all take place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.  500 Fairgrounds Rd, Castle Rock, CO 80104

 

How do I register?

Registration is currently open and closes Monday, May 30 at midnight MST.  You can register through BikeReg.com. Sorry, no mail in registrations accepted.

 

Will there be day-of registration?

Yes, we will have walk up registration at the following times at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.  Click here for more details.

Saturday, June 4 – 1 to 7 p.m.

Sunday, June 5 – 5 to 9 a.m.

 

How can I confirm my entry?

You may confirm your entry by going to BikeReg.com and checking the confirmed riders list.

 

I would like to transfer my entry to someone, how does that work?

You may transfer your entry on BikeReg.com until May 5 for a fee of $25.

 

I need to edit my entry on BikeReg, my name is spelled wrong. How do I do that?

You have the ability to edit your registration information, category, team name, etc. through your BikeReg.com.  The deadline for making changes is May 5th.

 

Can I change the course I registered for?

You are welcome to ride a shorter course, different than what you originally registered for without making any changes to your registration.  If you wish to upgrade to a longer course, you will need to contact eventsupport@outsideevents.com for instructions.

 

When and where is packet pick-up?

You may pick up your ride credentials and t-shirt on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. 

 

When does the ride start and what are the different wave times?

Like any other year, we will have a rolling start.  Please start during these recommended times:

5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. – 100 Mile

6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. – 60 Mile

7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. – 44 Mile 

9:00 a.m. – Family Fun Ride (Police Escort Start) 

 

Is camping available?

Yes, camping is available both Friday and Saturday. You will want to sign-up for a spot during the online registration process. Please note – all campers need to vacate the grounds no later than 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5.
 

What activities take place after the ride?

As part of your registration fee, you will receive a post-ride lunch. Stick around for a beer (or two) and check out our expo with all the latest gear.  See the full day’s schedule here

 

May kids participate for free?

Yes, all youth under the age of 18 ride free.  We will also have a 12 and under kids race FREE of charge on Sunday starting at 1 p.m.  

 

Are e-bikes allowed?

Yes, e-bikes are welcome on all courses.

 

Where do I pick up pre-ordered merchandise?

If you purchased merchandise when registering online, it will be available at packet pick-up either on Saturday June 4 or Sunday June 5.   

 

May I exchange pre-ordered merchandise for a different size?

Please visit the merchandise booth and we will be happy to make an exchange if we have the correct size available.  However, it must have the tag on it and must not have been worn.  

 

Can I add merchandise to my registration?

You may add merchandise to your registration until May 5, by logging onto your account with BikeReg.com

 

Are dogs allowed at the expo?

We ask that you leave your pets at home for the comfort and safety of the pets and the participants.

 

Can I camp on the Fairgrounds on Sunday night?

We need to be completely out of the Fairgrounds by 7:00pm so overnight camping on Sunday night is not permitted

 

Can I pick up a packet for a friend or family member?
You are welcome to pick up packets for friends or family without making any special arrangements.
